Thoughts from Bhagvad Gita : ATTRACTION
Thoughts from Bhagvad Gita
Attraction is the principal base of the worries. People get attached with other fantasies instead of the knowledge on power of the sun and the serenity of the moon. When I meditate in the sun's rays, I feel as though my soul is at peace and everything seems complete. This method is to be known as to interface this soul with god and with the nature within him.
forgetting this sorrowful, greedy world for a short time is to be said as a deep penance.
In the Puranas , we see Rishis describe many times as being the storehouse of wisdom and are described to be doing meditation for a long time. By meditating we will have the ultimate power of being connected with God, and till the time your heart becomes the abode of God. The one who have god in himself will have no chance of being attracted by any other earthly desires.
in the Vedas , worldly desires are referred to as "Kama" or "Trishna". The Vedas acknowledge the existence of worldly desires, but also provide guidance on how to manage and transcend them.
