THOUGHTS FROM BHAGVAD GITA: Karma
The law of cause and effect, where every action, thought and word has a consequence. The idea of Karma is based on the following principles:
Every action has results. When we do good or bad action later it will be performed upon us accordingly.
Cause and Effect: Karma is the manifestation of the law of cause and effect in a person’s life.
Free will: Individuals have the power to choose their actions and therefore, their Karma.
Reincarnation: Accumulated karma from one life can influence the next reincarnation.
Balance: The goal is to achieve balance in karma by eliminating bad karma and accumulating good karma.
Karma can be either:
Good Karma: Results from positive actions and generates favorable consequences.
Bad Karma: Results from negative actions and generates unfavorable consequences.
